Popular titles of Jesus If you were to go through the four Gospels, or the whole New Testament for that matter, and list the numerical frequency of the titles used for Jesus, which do you suppose would be used most often? The answer is the title, Christ. In fact, this title is used of Jesus so often in the New Testament that many people think that ‘Christ’ is part of his name.
